 CATADIOPTRIC 5X ZOOM LENS

 opens up a new dimension in long range video surveillance, tracking, and fire control applications. Day/low-light-level capability and precision boresighting accuracy with continuous zooming. This compact, relatively lightweight, ruggedized, nitrogen purged zoom lens is enclosed in a durable aluminum housing making it suitable for both mobile and stationary applications.
The catadioptric zoom lens offers the following features:
- Continuous zoom lens which focus tracks throughout zoom range*
- High resolution, contrast, MTF, and transmission (visible through near IR)
- Can provide long range low light level capability at wide angle positions with ultra
long range viewing during daylight conditions.
- Motorized zoom, focus, and optional ND filters for light attenuation.
- Other available options include continuous temperature, purge
pressure feedback and control.
* A zoom lens is defined as an optical system of continuously variable focal lengths with an image plane that remains in a fixed position. Unlike a zoom lens, a vari-focal lens may require refocusing at each incremental focal length.
